John King

Interim CEO

John King is a healthcare technology executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience driving growth and innovation across the industry. As Chairman of Aptarro’s Board since June 2024, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and now brings that insight to his role as Interim CEO. John is focused on advancing Aptarro’s mission to help healthcare organizations streamline revenue cycle processes and optimize payments. 

John previously served as CEO of OmniSYS, where he drove significant growth and expanded technology solutions that support retail pharmacies. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at McKesson, IDX Systems, Shared Medical Systems, MedAssets, and Standard Register, leading teams across revenue cycle, product innovation, and commercial operations. 

He also serves as an operating partner for NexPhase Capital, and currently sits on the boards of multiple healthcare companies. 

John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Virginia Military Institute.
